Under the watchful eye of his sister, Marie-Francoise, Daniel Couston has developed a range of wines of matchless fruitiness, evoking especially the flavours of red and black fruits. Here one detects the spiciness of the Syrah, the peppery Grenache, the coffee in the Mourvedre and the liquorice of the Carignan. From the terroir of the Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Villages where the clays and silts harmonise with the river pebbles, which in turn reflect back to the vines the heat of the sun, Daniel Couston gives us a wonderful wine. This wine is produced completely biologically. Through this method both vines and wine, and humans are linked in a lasting harmony. ![]() |
